Fulfill your leadership potential

Learn to manage a diverse and inclusive workforce

The Leadership Development Program is a nine-month, part-time program for individuals looking to gain the skills and relationships to manage a rapidly diversifying global workforce. Engage in discussions with corporate, government, and nonprofit leaders, and work in teams on real-time business and community-based projects.

Through case studies and simulations, LDP students explore and integrate leadership approaches and strategies applicable to a multicultural and multinational environment.

The Leadership Development Program includes online coursework and two in-person residencies–in Baltimore, MD, and Washington, D.C. Should you choose to continue your education at Carey, you can transfer all 12 credits earned through LDP into our part-time Online Flexible MBA program.

This father-daughter duo share a unique experience that not many have. Rob and Maya Kirkland each completed the Leadership Development Program 20 years apart.
