Full-Time Master of Science Orientation Information

Welcome to the Johns Hopkins Community. Orientation is an introduction to Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School, and your graduate degree program. At Orientation you will learn about the tools and resources available to you as students and future alumni. Orientation is designed to be informative, interactive, and engaging, while setting the expectations for your time as a graduate student. At Orientation, you will meet your program faculty, staff and fellow students. Orientation is mandatory and we encourage active participation throughout the day. Please see your required Orientation day below:

Students who attend Summer Intensive:

  • Students studying at the Baltimore, MD campus: Tuesday, August 13, 2019
    • ​Baltimore Campus: 100 International Drive, Baltimore, MD 21202
  • Students studying at the Washington, DC campus: Thursday, August 15, 2019 
    • ​Washington, DC Campus: 1625 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Washington DC 20036

Students not required to attend Summer Intensive:

  • Students studying at the Washington, DC campus: Wednesday, August 21, 2019 
    • ​Washington, DC Campus: 1625 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Washington DC 20036
  • Students studying at the Baltimore, MD campus: Friday, August 23, 2019
    • Baltimore Campus: 100 International Drive, Baltimore MD 21202 

Details:

  • Start Time: 8:00 AM
  • Dress: Business casual
  • Identification: Photo ID required (J-Card or government issued ID)
  • Please note that breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • More details regarding the schedule will be shared the week prior to your Orientation.
