Jia Zhu

Jia (Daniel) Zhu graduated from Fudan University in 2015, majoring in administrative management and from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law in 2014, majoring in international economy and trade. In 2013, Daniel led a team to participate into the 4th ICBC College Students Financial Products Design Competition, and won First Prize in Shanghai. After graduation, Daniel started his career at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the biggest bank in the world. Daniel was assistant manager of general management department and his key responsibilities included human resources, risk management, and administration. Daniel was promoted in 2016. In 2018, he started an MBA degree at the Johns Hopkins University. During the first-year of his MBA tour, he was appointed the vice president of PEVC club and led Fintech department. In summer 2019, he completed an internship at City of Baltimore (MD) as a Mayoral Fellow. During his free time, Daniel enjoys jogging, playing table tennis, and climbing mountains.
