Toby Tong is a current MSF student at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Toby is the vice president of Johns Hopkins PEVC&Fintech club, building up a platform connecting the entrepreneurs in Baltimore with the investor. He once worked at K2VC, a Venture Capital firm focused on TMT early stage companies in China, with portfolio like Tiger Brokers(NASDAQE: TIGR), TuanChe (NASDAQE: TC), LexinFintech(NASDAQE: LX) and Yamibuy. He mainly focuses on education, e-commerce, gaming, social media and house-renting. He sourced a deal that is finally invested by the company and did research to support the investment decision of two other deals. Before becoming an investor, Toby was an entrepreneur who co-founded a gene testing company. Toby earned dual degrees in Biology and Marketing. He also studied in Tel Aviv University in Israel, UC Berkeley in America and National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan.
