Michelle advises students and alumni in job search processes, interview and professional skills, and career development, and teaches Professional Development classes, workshops, and webinars.
Prior to her work at Johns Hopkins, Michelle worked Elon University in North Carolina, where she served as the Assistant Director of Career Services in the Student Professional Development Center. In this role, she advised students, taught orientation and career planning courses, managed large-scale events, and created customized programs for 19 departments within the Arts and Sciences in collaboration with faculty members. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in College Student Development from Appalachian State University.
Michelle is an active member in the American College Personnel Association and has served on the Commission for Career Development Directorate Board for three years. She is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner and has taken two Gallup training courses for StrengthsQuest. In her free time, Michelle enjoys exploring the city, watching movies, and cheering on the Redskins.
