Matt develops and implements communications and marketing strategies on behalf of Student Development and Global Engagement initiatives.

Prior to joining Carey, Matt was an accomplished Associate Marketing Manager for General Growth Properties; managing events, performance staff, programs, collateral, and business generation initiatives leading up to the $100 million sale of the Harborplace property in November 2012. Before venturing into marketing full time, Matt worked as an Assistant Account Executive for Weinberg Harris & Associates—a Baltimore-based public relations agency—where he served as media liaison between major news affiliates and organizations such as the Cirque du Soleil and Donate Life Maryland.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans.
