The dual-degree in Design Leadership is a two-year residential program that teaches students to link business management fundamentals with the creative approach to thinking and problem solving used by the world's top designers. Learn to make innovation your standard mode of operation by applying design thinking concepts to real-world business challenges. In this one-of-a-kind program, you will simultaneously work to earn graduate degrees from both a major college of art and design (MICA) and a business school at a major research university (Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School).

Taught by world-class faculty who are experts in their fields, Design Leadership graduates are bringing innovation to businesses on the Alaskan frontier, managing the first female-led millennial venture capital firm, teaching business courses at renowned Gallaudet University, working as innovation consultants for Fortune 500 businesses at Deloit Digital, directing customer experiences for Amtrak, and developing user experience strategy for Google, to name just a few exciting trajectories.

Discover more by attending one of these upcoming CAMPUS VISIT DAYS. Start at Carey in Baltimore's Harbor East with admissions officer Sondra Smith and end at MICA's graduate campus in the Station North neighborhood with program director Crystal Shamblee. See the environments, meet instructors, and talk with current students.
