Claudia Forman Pleasants currently serves as Principal Broker and President for Suburban Properties, Inc., a real estate brokerage subsidiary of the Pleasants Companies, headquartered in Montgomery County, Maryland. Suburban Properties provides sales and marketing for commercial and residential properties within the Pleasants portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as outside clients.

Claudia holds a B.A. from George Mason University and an M.S. in Business and Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. Her twenty-year background in real estate finance and construction lending with regional banks in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan area includes serving as Group Vice President with Maryland National Bank (now Bank of America).

Claudia has served as Trustee of the George Mason University Foundation; Chairman of the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Alan Berman Institute of Johns Hopkins University; President of the Suburban Maryland chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW); National Delegate to National Network of CREW; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Barnesville School, Montgomery County, MD; Chairman of the Fairfax County, VA, Employer Child Care Council; Board of Directors of Mortgage Bankers Association of Washington; Trustee of Hospice Caring, Inc. of Montgomery County, MD.

Claudia currently serves as Trustee of the Real Estate Advisory Board of Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University.
