Monika Mason, MBA ’16

In 2019, Monika began her career with the United States Department of Defense as a Program Manager where she successfully monitors program requirements, statutorily mandated outcomes, contract performance and execution across the program life-cycle.
In 2013, Monika began working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Goddard Space Flight Center as a Lead Project Manager for the Space Network (SN). The SN makes continuous improvements and updates to its systems (legacy hardware/software/ materials) and resources to provide expanded capabilities for customers and to address obsolescence. In this role, Monika provided financial and programmatic help that determined priority of projects within the SN and monitored the allocation of project resources.
Monika earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and in May 2021, Monika completed her Masters of Systems Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. She graduated from Bethune-Cookman University in 2008.
