
Morris W. Offit served as chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Johns Hopkins University from 1990 to 1996. He is chairman of Offit Capital Advisors LLC. He was previously co-chief executive officer of Offit Hall Capital Management LLC and previously was founder and chief executive officer of OFFITBANK, a wealth management private bank, which merged with Wachovia Bank in 1999. He began his career at Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust Company and then became a general partner at Salomon Brothers, establishing the Stock Research Department. Offit holds a BA from the Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
