Business Card Guidelines:
- Students purchasing business cards
- Must select white cardstock
- Must select grey ink with Carey Business School in blue (see example below).
- Must select the vertical format option
- Must list their name and degree candidacy
- May list proposed graduation year, if known
- May list program name, home or school address, telephone/fax number, and email address
- Under no circumstance is the Johns Hopkins University and/or Carey Business School logotype to be altered in any way.
- Both Johns Hopkins University and Carey Business School logotypes are legally protected trademarks.
- Business cards designed and purchased through Johns Hopkins University are the only authorized business cards available to Carey students.
Order Process:
- Cards may be ordered online. Guidelines must be followed when ordering cards or your order will not be processed. Other card options are available to JHU faculty and staff. If you have questions, please call Student Services at 410-516-9739, or Design & Publications at 443-287-9940 prior to submitting your online order.
- The Design & Publications office must receive verification from your program of your degree candidacy before proceeding (department contacts are listed below). You must ask your department to verify your candidacy with Design and Publications. Verifications should be sent to Mary Bledsoe at maryb@jhu.edu. Orders can not be processed without department notification.
- Payment is due prior to card printing. On the online order form under "Cost Center & GL Account Numbers," please type “will send payment."
- When you approve the card proof, Design and Publications will request a check for $124 made out to the Johns Hopkins University be sent to: Printing Services, Johns Hopkins University, 3400 N. Charles Street, G-88 Wyman Park Building, Baltimore, MD 21218. Please note job number on payment which will be in the email from Design and Publications. Once the printer receives payment, the printing process will begin.
- Delivery: Cards may be picked up at the printer or sent to a JHU campus location. In the "Delivery" section of the online form, type "pick up," or type the campus name and address you designate for delivery.
- Cards generally take 3 – 5 weeks to print, including proof stage, and can be ordered throughout the year.
