Connect with our Students

Our Relationship Managers can assist you in developing a strategy to build visibility at the Carey Business School and gain exposure to our students and alumni.

Information on ways to market your organization and on opportunities at Carey is listed below.

Company Information Sessions

Organizations may schedule information sessions throughout the academic year to identify and meet interested candidates, market their organizations and available job or internship opportunities to our students and alumni, or simply increase their campus presence.

Information sessions may be scheduled at either our Baltimore or Washington DC campuses or at your place of business. Our office can arrange for AV equipment and recommend caterers for refreshments. Our policy is to open information sessions to all interested parties. To schedule your event, please contact our main office at 410-516-6218.

Career Fairs

The Carey Business School is a co-sponsor of the MBA Career Quest, the largest MBA job and internship fair in the Mid-Atlantic region with more than 1,200 graduate business students and alumni in attendance. We participate with several other business schools in the region. The fair is an excellent opportunity to launch your fall recruiting season since it attracts top students from leading business schools in the Mid-Atlantic region. Register for the MBA Career Quest.

Working with our Student Organizations

Participating in one or more of the student-run clubs is an excellent opportunity for interaction with students. There are a variety of participation options such as volunteering to speak at a club event, sponsoring an activity, or hosting a visit at your location by club members. We can connect you with club leadership to determine the best approach.

The Sims Program

This series of structured simulations throughout the year provide our students with opportunities to put in practice the career development skills they have developed. We welcome professionals who are willing to volunteer their time to lead a simulation. These exercises simulate experiences such as a phone interview, a board meeting, a confrontational interaction, a case interview, a performance review. etc.

By leading a simulation, you help our students prepare for their careers and you benefit from the opportunity to interact individually with our top candidates.

Presenter’s Group

Presentation reviewers volunteer to assist students in developing their presentation skills. In these sessions, students present on a range of topics using a variety of presentation styles, and seek constructive critique to assist them in refining their presenting abilities.

Career Conference

During a two-day summer conference scheduled before classes begin, students prepare for the upcoming recruitment cycle. Panels of employers and alumni are invited to provide up-to-date information about major industries, job functions, and trends in the business world.

Our Private Network

To help our students become tech savvy and highly skilled at networking online, we have created a private network for our students, alumni, and employers to interact. As an an online presenter in our Company Intel Series, you have the opportunity to conduct an online discussion about your company and career path with the hundreds of students and alumni who have joined our network.

Coffee and Careers Series

Scheduled twice a month, these series bring speakers to campus to discuss the latest trends, news, and issues in the business world. While these meetings are designed to provide nformation and insights, they also afford students practice in making small talk around “the water cooler.”

Host Student Visits at Your Facility

Students often request an opportunity to visit companies to gain an understanding of how different organizations function. These visits, known as “Treks,” are arranged by students groups and clubs directly with a company representative. "Treks" typically involve a company presentation, facility tour, and an opportunity to meet key leaders. Please advise a Career Services represntative if you are interested in hosting a visit.

Corporate Sponsorship
