Requirements and Coursework

The MS in Marketing program is structured into five 8-week terms: fall 1, fall 2, spring 1, spring 2, and summer.

The program consists of 36 credits, which include:

  • Required Business Core (12 credits)
    • Market Research
    • Market-driven Strategy
    • Customer-driven Marketing
    • Understanding Consumer Behavior
    • Customer Relationship Management
    • Integrated Marketing Communications
  • Required Skills, Tools, and Methods (12 credits)
    • Financial Analysis of Marketing Decisions
    • Statistical Analysis
    • Business Communication
    • The Marketing Environment
    • Ethics and Humanity
    • Business Law
  • Concentration and elective courses (8 credits)
  • Applied Research Project (4 credits)

Specialized electives (8 credits) include innovation and new product leadership, market research, strategic brand management, and creative business thinking.

Using knowledge gained in the program, students complete their program with an applied research project (4 credits).
