INNoVATE™ Partners

The Montgomery County Campus is home to the new year-long INNoVATE Entrepreneurship Program.

This program, which is funded for three years through a National Science Foundation grant, is a partnership between:

  • The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School
  • University of Maryland Baltimore County
  • Montgomery County Department of Economic Development
  • Rockville Economic Development.

The program is based on the highly successful ACTiVATE® program and provides applied training for post-docs, research scientists, and others who want to start science-based businesses. During the year, successful serial entrepreneurs take students through the evaluation of a technology's commercial viability, preparation of a business case based on the technology, and launch of a business.

INNoVATE™ Sponsors

Corporate sponsorship is critical to our ability to successfully operate and expand the program. Your sponsorship will help assure our ability to provide program participants the training, support and access to resources to launch a technology based business.
