Criteria for Admissions

1. Education and/or experience in life sciences
2. Evidence of:
     a. Ability to learn and be flexible
     b. Entrepreneurial interest
     c. Perseverance
3. Strong interest in forming a company
4. Time to commit

To apply to the INNoVATE™ program submit:

One to two-paragraph statement that describes your qualification (based on criteria) and reasons for wanting to join the program
Resume or CV
One page summary of a project of interest

Admissions Process

In January instructors and program staff identify applicants that appear to be well-suited for the program and invite them to for a short informational interview. The interviews provide an opportunity for applicants to ask specific questions about the program and for the program staff/instructors to learn more about the applicants.

By the end of January, acceptance letters for the program are sent to applicants who are deemed to be the best suited for the Program.

Cost

The cost of the program is $3000. A $1000 subsidy is available for postdocs.

Schedule

Classes begin in mid February and are held one evening per week from 6:30 – 9:00 pm and one Saturday per month at the Carey Business School Montgomery County Campus.
