More than Real Estate. Real Business.

Scholarships Still Available for Spring 2016.

At the Carey Business School, we invite you to think differently about traditional real estate practices and explore new ways to bring sustainability and accountability to the industry. We offer hands-on courses that examine all phases of the profession, taught by Johns Hopkins experts and practitioners recruited from the region's leading investment, development, law, engineering, and planning firms.

The master's in real estate program lives in a business school ... for good reason.

Most universities locate their master's in real estate programs in departments of continuing education or general graduate studies. Not here.

Established more than a quarter-century ago, the Carey Business School's Edward St. John Real Estate Program is the first of its kind in the region. It's also one of the few MS real estate programs in the country offered through a business school. This ensures you'll receive a multi-disciplinary grounding in real estate best practices as well as a deeper understanding of business trends and strategies affecting the industry directly and indirectly. You’ll graduate with skills that are more transferrable to other areas of business, providing you with greater flexibility—and marketability—than what you’d receive in the typical master’s in real estate program.

Support beyond the classroom.

Equally as important, you'll tap into the program's powerful alumni network of more than 1,000 MS in Real Estate and Infrastructure graduates and 20,000 Carey Business School (plus 200,000 Johns Hopkins) graduates worldwide—extending your reach, influence, and opportunities exponentially. Our Career Development team also takes an individual interest in each student. We'll work closely with you throughout your studies and beyond to thoroughly prepare you for a real estate career as well as opportunities in related fields such as finance and investment.

Full- and part-time Master’s in Real Estate and Infrastructure programs are available with classes taught at our Harbor East campus in Baltimore and our Dupont Circle campus in Washington, D.C.

Please note that full-time programs at the Carey Business School are ideal for students with minimal work experience, while our part-time programs are intended for students with two or more years of professional experience. International applicants should apply to our full-time MBA or MS degree programs.
