Our students have heart. They’re driven to go beyond numbers to see the billions of people those numbers represent. They’ve got the courage to lead and innovate rather than simply learning how money and markets interact. They understand and accept the responsibilities that come with a career in finance.
Students enrolled in the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s Master of Science in Finance program learn from world-class faculty and experienced practitioners in the world of finance, gaining insight from both theoretical and practical areas of expertise. Core coursework focuses on fundamentals of valuation and analysis rooted in a practical understanding of economic and institutional forces.
A significant portion of the curriculum is devoted to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute’s Candidate Body of Knowledge, so our graduates earn a degree and emerge from the program ready to sit for the CFA exams.
The Hopkins Master’s in Finance offers both full-time and part-time enrollment. Full-time is ideal for students with limited professional work experience, while the part-time MS in Finance is primarily focused on educating working professionals for career advancement.
If you’ve got heart, study finance at the institution that’s driven innovation for 140 years—and deliver returns for the world’s most important shareholder: humanity.
