Course Waiver Policy
It is possible that certain courses may be waived according to procedures established by the academic departments offering those courses. To be granted a waiver generally requires an acceptable score on a proficiency examination offered by the academic department. The academic departments will schedule proficiency examinations if offered. The departments are not required to schedule the examinations at any particular date or location or more than one time per year.
Up to two courses from the MBA foundation or MSITS prerequisite courses may be waived without replacement. If a student, because of his/her unique educational experience, can be waived out of more than two courses in the Dual MBA/MSITS program, then those courses must be replaced with other course electives of the student's choice and approved by the academic adviser.
