International Applicants

What to Know Before Applying

Please read the following section before starting the application process.

No federal financial aid is available at this time for international students. Please see the Loans and Scholarships section for information about scholarships available from private organizations to some international students.

As an international student, you are charged the same tuition rates as a US student. Costs for the Global MBA can be found under Tuition and Fees for specific information.

As an F-1 student, you would need to show proof that you can afford all tuition and living expenses for one academic year to receive an I-20. The current amounts are:

  • $46,000 (tuition)
  • $500 (matriculation fee)
  • $20,327 (estimated cost of living)

We do not provide on-campus housing for any of our students. You may find it helpful to visit the Housing Resources page

In order to receive a student (F-1) visa, you must be fully admitted to a degree program well in advance of the start of the semester (read about our deadlines).

Full-time status/full course of study is defined at the Carey Business School as enrolled in minimally 9 credits each fall and minimally 9 credits each spring semester for graduate study.

As an F-1 student enrolled in a full-course of study, you will complete your degree program within 2-3 years.

In order to comply with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations, if you are a newly enrolled F-1 student, you can only begin your program in the fall or spring semester.
