Waiver Policy
Students with an MBA or a graduate degree in quantitative fields such as economics, science, and engineering may qualify to waive some or all of the foundation courses. Students who hold the CFA designation are waived from Financial Accounting; Financial Management; Business, Government and the World Economy; and Statistics for Business. Students who hold the CPA designation are waived from Financial Accounting.
The finance admission committee reviews transcripts of accepted candidates and will determine if previous coursework and/or credentials qualifies for prerequisite course waivers.
In addition, these courses may be waived by passing waiver exams, according to procedures established by the academic department offering these courses. For more information, contact the academic adviser.
