Accelerated (Full-Time) MSRE
The Edward St. John Department of Real Estate in the Carey Business School began a full-time, accelerated master's program in real estate (MSRE) in September 2005. The program has the same core course requirements and content as the current part-time MSRE program, but is designed to be completed in a one-year (12-month) period for students who are prepared to be challenged by a fast pace and heavy course load. The intensive full-time program is housed in Baltimore, close to full-time faculty offices and the real estate library.
This program is designed for real estate professionals with fewer than three years of experience who are able to enroll as full-time students in a 12-month concentrated format. The course of study includes a full-time internship/practicum in which students directly apply what they learned in the classroom. Internships are supervised by an industry representative and a faculty member to ensure the academic and professional quality of the work experience. The program offers students from the U.S. and abroad a challenging full-time academic experience with in-depth individual academic counseling and advising.
Completed applications are due March 1 for first round admission and financial aid priority. Later applications may be accepted based on merit and individual circumstances and will be accepted until June 15, 2008. This is a cohort based program and admission is allowed only in the fall semester.
