Treks are when student groups visit organizational sites. The purpose of a trek visit is to increase industry knowledge, learn more about specific employers of interest and to network with industry professionals. These visits provide insight into organizational culture, functional knowledge and industry education.

TREK VISIT STRUCTURE COULD INCLUDE:

  • Facility Tours
  • Host company presentations
  • Functional expert panels
  • Case question practice
  • Meeting with executives
  • Human Resources Q&A
  • Breakfast / Lunch

In previous years we have made trek visits to employers across various industries in cities including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Houston, local employers in the Baltimore/DC area, and an international trek to China.

If you are an employer interested in hosting students at your organization, then please contact our Employer Relations Team industry representatives or email carey.careerdevelopment@jhu.edu.
