The most important tool for Carey students is Carey Compass. A one-stop shop for career services resources, Carey Compass provides students with access to the following:
- E-mail alerts and job postings
Complete your profile to receive information geared toward students with your particular background and with your career search interests.
- Calendar of events
The Carey Career Development Office hosts semi-monthly professional development webinars on topics such as utilizing LinkedIn effectively and enhancing interviewing skills. We also host in-person workshops at our Baltimore and Washington D.C. centers, designed to pair students with professional and peer advisors on topics such as resume and cover letter creation.

Designed for personal questions to follow-up on webinar or workshop content. Advisers are available at the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. centers during the weekdays and early evenings. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Career development tools
Download document templates, guides, and recordings of webinars pertaining to career search competencies. Access additional resources, such as the Vault Guides and GoingGlobal, which are available free of charge to all Carey students.
The Carey Career Development Office has also purchased memberships to various online career resources (including The Vault, Going Global, MBA Exchange, and Fins from the Wall Street Journal). These resources can also be accessed via Carey Compass.
