Christy serves as the lead contact for international employers.
Christy works as the Director of Global Engagement for the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Career Development Office. In her role, she and her team engage and connect the global community of students, alumni, employers, external constituents, staff, and faculty through relationship management, communications, and programming guided by the mission of the Carey Business School. Christy brings over fifteen years of corporate and higher education experience to the Johns Hopkins University. She has worked at Johns Hopkins University for eight years, joining Carey in August 2012 to expand its career development and employer outreach initiatives.
Prior to joining the Johns Hopkins University, Christy worked in the real estate industry for both private and public companies including KeyCorp, Trammell Crow, and CubeSmart (formerly U-Store-It), providing asset and property management services. During this time, Christy authored articles in real estate trade magazines focusing on economic development diversification and the monetization of underutilized assets.
Christy holds a Master of Science degree in Organizational Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Miami University (Ohio). She is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certified practitioner and an active member of the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance organization.
