Not everyone steps onto a college campus as a freshman knowing what he or she will do when after graduation. But Doug Ferreira did: He was going to join the Marine Corps.

Four years later, he did just that. And after a 10-year military career as a platoon commander, advanced training officer, deputy operating officer, and company commanding officer, Ferreira was ready for his next challenge. He wasn’t sure where or what it would be, but one thing he was sure of was that he wanted his work to be gratifying.

Ozge Sahin PhotoOzge Sahin

Ozge Sahin, PhD (Operations Research, Columbia University), joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2011. She is an Associate Professor in the research track with expertise in the areas of pricing and revenue management, and supply-chain management.

Angela Zeng

Angela Zeng PhotoAngela Zeng joined the Carey Business School in March 2013 as the Assistant Director and Academic Adviser of the Global MBA program. She received her MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, her MS in Computer Science at Loyola University Chicago, and BA in International Relations from Peking University, China.

Angela’s professional experience runs the gamut of work in various areas of business and academia. Earlier in her career, she served as the Marketing and Sales Manager at a manufactory company, and also worked at a top university in China as an instructor. After graduated from Carey, she served as project coordinator, program manager and policy analyst at various departments of the Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, including the President’s Office, the Provost Office, and Johns Hopkins Medicine International. These opportunities allowed her to connect with students, faculty, and outside customers directly or indirectly, which opened the door for her to oversee complex projects. Over the years, Angela has learned to be sensitive to individual needs which enabled her to effectively perform at her current job where she is committed to devoting her time and talents to student success and satisfaction.
