For international students at the Carey Business School, there are several resources available to assist in the transition to academic life at Johns Hopkins.
Johns Hopkins University Office of International Services (OIS)
The Johns Hopkins University Office of International Services (OIS) assists international students with the visa and immigration process. International students new to Carey will work with the OIS staff to ensure that they have a smooth transition to life at Johns Hopkins. New degree-seeking students should consult the OIS website for more information on the visa process.
All questions should be directed to the Office of International Services via phone at 667-208-7001, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All international students beginning their programs in Fall 2017 are required to attend the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Summer Intensive, unless the student has a two- or four-year degree from a U.S. college or university.
The Summer Intensive is a unique opportunity for international students to gain valuable knowledge and experience to navigate academic, professional, and personal life as a student at the Carey Business School and in the U.S. The Summer Intensive program is an acculturation program, not an English Language program. Through in- and out-of-classroom experiences, students will learn about their new academic environment and city.
