Getting Started at Carey

To make your transition easier, the Student Services Office has put together a list of steps for newly admitted Carey students.

Called First Steps for New Students, this resource outlines the administrative steps new students must take upon enrolling at the Carey Business School, including email setup, registration, visa and immigration processes, and important information on financial aid and orientation.

Additionally, all international students beginning their programs in Fall 2017 are required to attend the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Summer Intensive, unless the student has a two- or four-year degree from a U.S. college or university. The Summer Intensive is a unique opportunity for international students to gain valuable knowledge and experience to navigate academic, professional, and personal life as a student at the Carey Business School and in the U.S. The Summer Intensive program is an acculturation program, not an English Language program. Through in- and out-of-classroom experiences, students will learn about their new academic environment and city.
