Application Requirements for All Programs

Official transcripts from all U.S. schools must be sent electronically. All U.S. transcripts must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Please use Scrip-Safe (http://www.scrip-safe.com) or Docufide (https://exchange.parchment.com) to submit your official transcripts. Please note that transcripts are required from all schools where 15 or more transfer credits were earned. An admission decision may be delayed if you do not send transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.

If your school does not participate in one of the electronic transcript submission options above, send official sealed transcripts to the address below:

Special Instructions for Coursework Completed Outside the U.S.

  • Applicants with degrees earned or in progress from schools outside the United States are required to submit a course by course credential evaluation. For information on obtaining an evaluation, please refer to: Credential Evaluation Agencies.

  • Special note for applicants with three-year undergraduate degrees from non-U.S. colleges & universities: In some situations, three-year degrees can be considered equivalent to a four-year U.S. Bachelor’s degree. In these cases, applicants can apply to the Carey Business School. Before you begin your application and the credential evaluation process, please contact the Admissions Officer for your program for further guidance. Applicants can get a preview of how their degree will be evaluated by using a free tool at the World Education Services website:  https://www.wes.org/preliminary/idp.asp

  • Special note: Applicants who hold degrees (or are expected to earn a degree) from non-U.S. institutions must have their academic records evaluated by a credential evaluation agency before they can be considered for admission to a degree/certificate program. Please visit our Credential Evaluation Agencies webpage for more information.

Please review the following exceptions regarding transcripts and credential evaluations:

  • All degrees earned or expected from outside the United States (U.S.) – a credential evaluation is required – do not upload or mail transcripts
  • If coursework was earned outside of the U.S. but the degree was earned in the U.S. – only transcripts are required from all schools and must be in English
  • Applicants to the Bachelors of Business Administration only – coursework earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated - please refer to: Credential Evaluation Agencies
  • Resume
  • Essay(s)
  • One letter of recommendation
  • GMAT/GRE scores - requirement varies by program. A waiver request form can be found on the online application.
  • TOEFL or IELTS scores for non-native English speakers. A waiver request form can be found on the online application.
