Changing or Adding Programs
Have You Finished a Certificate and Now Want to Pursue a Degree?
Or
Are You Interested in Pursuing a Second Certificate or Degree?
Please follow the procedures below to get started:
- Read the Admission Criteria section first to determine your eligibility and review a list of required materials for each program
- Submit a formal admissions application to the Office of Admissions (see the How to Apply section for more information)
- Include the $70 application fee UNLESS you have graduated from a Carey Business School certificate program and are applying to a second certificate program or a degree program within one year of graduation.
NOTE: No application fee or transcripts are required for those students who have graduated from a Carey Business School degree program.
Other Options
For those students who are currently enrolled in a degree program at the Carey Business School and wish to add certificates, requests must be made in writing to the Office of Admissions. Name, Social Security number, current degree program, and the certificate name must be included. No application, application fee, or additional materials are required.
For students who are currently enrolled in certificate programs at the Carey Business School and wish to add degree programs, formal admission applications must be submitted to the Office of Admissions for the new programs. See admissions requirements for other materials required for admission to that program. No application fee is required.
Want to Change Your Degree or Major?
Degree- or certificate-seeking Carey Business School students who wish to change to another degree or certificate program within the school while still in the application process must submit requests in writing to the Office of Admissions. Students who have been admitted to a degree or certificate program must submit formal applications and all other required materials (excluding transcripts and fees) to the Office of Admissions.
Students are not automatically admitted to the new programs; their requests must be approved by the appropriate academic division and communicated directly to students. Students should allow four to six weeks to receive their decisions.
Note: Financial aid recipients must notify the financial aid office when changing or adding a degree or certificate program.
