MS in Information Systems

The Master of Science in Information Systems program integrates business expertise with the technical components of developing, managing, and deploying information systems.

This program is ideal for experienced professionals who want to enter the field of information systems and for IT professionals who wish to advance in their fields. Students learn how to create value for their organizations and for society by focusing intensively on the critical business, leadership and ethical issues. They learn how to make informed strategic decisions about all aspects of information systems management, including data analytics, cloud architecture, cyber security, information systems strategy, infrastructure platforms, decision models, supply chain, and web technologies and services.

The rigorous curriculum and core focus of this challenging program enable students to:

  • •    Develop the knowledge, confidence, and judgment to lead change in a dynamic industry
  • •    Understand how to use information technology to improve decision making and increase organizational effectiveness

The MS in Information Systems is offered in a part-time format in Washington, D.C. and is ideal for working professionals with at least two years of experience.
