The undisputed strength of Johns Hopkins University lies in its science and health-based research and teaching enterprise. The Global MBA is rooted in this tradition and draws its distinctive strengths from it. It begins with a world view.
Global focus. Real impact.
Students move through a series of integrated modules that reflect the nature and structure of real-world business problems in the areas of Financial Resources, People and Markets, Business Processes, and Managerial Decision Behavior.
The Johns Hopkins University’s international presence and strength in science and health-based technology allows for unique and innovative programs to help prepare experienced world-class business leaders. As part of Discovery to Market, students work with inventors and entrepreneurs to commercialize actual scientific discoveries. The unique Innovation for Humanity course is a six month long project that includes a three week in-country experience working in a developing market. In Thought and Discourse seminars, students learn how to communicate and lead in an international and ethical manner.
A Global MBA means a global student body. We attract students from the best companies and universities around the world, and carefully select each class to be comprised of at least 50% international students. This rich classroom diversity enhances the international experience of a Global MBA. Meet some of our students.
The Baltimore-based program is located in the new Legg Mason building overlooking the Inner Harbor. This idyllic setting is unique for a business school, as it facilitates interaction with business leaders and is surrounded by fine dining establishments and entertainment spots.
Furthermore, Baltimore’s rich history and close proximity to Washington, D.C. and New York City allow easy access to government and international institutions like the IMF, World Bank, U.S. Congress, and the United Nations, as well as Fortune 500 companies and Wall Street.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you.
