Work and Study.

Carey's Human Resources office serves as the hiring office for full-time Carey Business School students seeking casual or part-time positions at the Carey Business School. Our payroll office processes all student paychecks and maintains student employment records and supporting documents.

When positions become available, students will receive an email announcing open positions at Carey with details on how they can apply. 

General Information:

A student worker may not go over 20 hours per week combined with all positions. A student may not have more than 2 positions at one time.

Student Qualifications

A full-time student must be enrolled in a Johns Hopkins graduate or doctoral program, carrying a full time course load of 9 credits or more per semester. Student must possess an excellent academic record. Must maintain a professional working relationship with faculty, students and administrative staff. Skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively and enjoy working with students. Self-directed and self-motivated.
