Bill Enright, MS '96 serves as President & CEO at Vaxin Inc, with facilities in Gaithersburg, MD. Vaxin is focused on the development of novel, intranasally administered vaccines for flu and anthrax, and was recently awarded a $21.7M contract from BARDA to advance its anthrax vaccine into testing in people. He has more than 22 years of experience in the Maryland biotech community including prior roles as Executive Director, Head of Business Development at GenVec Inc. as an independent consultant and also spent 12 years at Life Technologies, Inc. where he gained valuable experience through senior level positions in operations, research and business management.
Mr. Enright attended Johns Hopkins University where he studied Business Management and earned a Masters degree in 1996. He also attended SUNY at Buffalo where he studied Biology and earned a Bachelors degree in 1986 and a Masters degree in 1988.
