Estela McClean, MAS '92 most recently served as CEO for Symbion Power Services a subsidiary of Symbion Power LLC, an engineering, procurement and construction firm providing electrical infrastructure expertise in the areas of power plants, substations and transmission lines operating in Iraq, Afghanistan and several countries in Africa.
Estela has over 20 years of experience in human resources and project management in diverse industries. During her career she has managed both commercial and government sector assignments at Honeywell, Teradyne, Computer Sciences Corporation, American Management Systems and, prior to Symbion Power, as Managing Director at American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC. Throughout her career, Estela has worked in several countries in Europe and has managed projects in developing countries in Africa, India, Middle East, and South America. Estela’s international responsibilities have entailed implementation of information technology outsourcing deals, supporting field based international development in education and social development, and standing up new offices in several countries where she was responsible for the establishment of policies, procedures and benefits for local staff.
Estela holds a Master’s Degree in Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University in 1992 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University in Personnel & Industrial Relations.
